Several new office tenants in central Gothenburg

Published 6/30/2026

Demand for office premises in central locations such as Inom Vallgraven as well as the Avenyn and Långgatorna areas is stable. Popular city locations are attracting a broad mix of new tenants to Wallenstam - ranging from fast-growing tech companies to established players in finance, industry, education, tech and creative industries.

Lettings to new office tenants comprise almost 2,500 square meters and cover several of the city's most attractive office locations.

Inom Vallgraven continues to attract office tenants with addresses such as Kungsportsplatsen, Vallgatan and Drottninggatan. New tenants are moving here in areas such as education, consulting, project management and technology, contributing to a vibrant and varied business community in the heart of the city center. The tenants include the EdTech company eEducation Albert, which will move into Kungsportsplatsen 2 early next year.

The Avenyn area also continues to have a strong appeal. Several new businesses have chosen to establish themselves on Engelbrektsgatan and Lorensbergsgatan, including IT and tech companies, such as the IT consulting firm Curago. Meanwhile, the Långgatorna area is being further strengthened through new office lettings to companies in the technology and maritime industries such as the marine technology company Marine Benchmark.

"We see continued strong demand for central locations in Gothenburg and are happy to welcome tenants with various types of businesses. This is something that contributes to a vibrant city with workplaces in several of the city's most attractive areas," says Marina Fritche, Regional Director Gothenburg and Vice CEO of Wallenstam.
