Double addition in Mölnlycke Centrum - Elsie's kök och skafferi to open in two premises

Now it is decided: on September 1, Elsie's kök och skafferi will open in Mölnlycke Centrum. At the corner of Gunnar Runfors gränd 1 and Biblioteksgatan, the adaption of the premises is now underway ahead of the opening. Here Elsie's will open a so-called "krambod", an older name for a small store, with a focus on catering and sandwich cakes and a restaurant section offering lunch, takeaway and outdoor seating right in the middle of the town center.

Elsie's kök och skafferi started in the village of Bråta in Mölnlycke and has grown with a focus on quality and proximity and a pleasant environment where guests can enjoy a relaxing pause in their daily lives. Now the owners Madeleine Borg Curiander and Marcus Curiander, are taking the next step and will open in the heart of Mölnlycke town center after the summer.

"We want to be part of a vibrant center and create something that feels like a second living room for Mölnlycke residents - a place where you can both have lunch and buy something to take home," says Marcus Curiander, owner of Elsie's kök och skafferi.
The central location, with a clear shopfront window facing the pedestrian street, together with the opportunity to develop the premises have been crucial for the venture. 

"We are grateful that Wallenstam has given us the opportunity to adapt the premises and to make it possible to set up a business with a kitchen here. The investment not only makes our establishment possible but will also help to develop the town center," says Marcus Curiander.

Elsie's kök och skafferi will have three clear sections, the "krambod" with a focus on catering and sandwich cakes, the lounge which will become the actual restaurant area with a high ceiling and a warm, open atmosphere and the outdoor seating area which will strengthen the connection to life outside. 

"We know that there has been a great deal of interest in the premises in the town center, so it feels particularly satisfying to now finally be able to announce that we found the right match. To be able to welcome Elsie's kök to Mölnlycke Centrum feels really great. They are providing two important elements - both sales and a restaurant - which together will broaden the range of offerings and will contribute to more life and activity in the town center," says Anders Forsling, Chief Account Manager, Commercial for Wallenstam in Gothenburg.
