Wallenstam lets Space Arena to Stureplansgruppen
Published 4/23/2025Wallenstam has signed a lease agreement with Stureplansgruppen, which in August will open the spectacular Space Arena in the Sergel's scraper for new experiences. The agreement covers an area of 3,300 square meters on two floors with an ultra modern events arena and accompanying space for conferences, concerts, all types of events and film screenings.
"We are extremely proud to take over Space, a masterpiece created by Pophouse. I can dare to say that it is Northern Europe's most technically advanced and functional conference and meeting facility, way ahead of anything else that Stockholm has to offer. The fact that the facility is located in the iconic Sergel's scraper, number 5 of the Hötorget scrapers, makes it even better. We are looking forward to operating in Wallenstam's property and together create new opportunities for inspiring meetings, innovative events and powerful experiences," says Vimal Kovac, founder and CEO of Stureplansgruppen.
Space Arena has previously received visits from all over the world through various events. Film screenings, events, concerts and film productions have been organized here. With space for 450 seated or 600 standing guests, Stureplansgruppen will now offer new unique experiences onsite, starting in August.
"It feels really great that we will now create an additional attraction in Stockholm. We look forward to making the place more vibrant and to create a larger flow of people in the city, even in the evening. The fact that we can now contribute with this attractive meeting place is an important piece of our vision to create a diamond out of Stockholm's perhaps most iconic office property," says Mathias Aronsson, Vice CEO and Regional Director of Wallenstam in Stockholm.
Stureplansgruppen was founded in 1996 and has several of Sweden's most acclaimed restaurants in its portfolio and works based on the ambition of providing world-class guest experiences.
