Wallenstam vacates commercial properties

On February 3, Wallenstam vacated four commercial properties in Gothenburg, in accordance with the agreement that was signed with Safjället Fastigheter AB in December.

"We have now handed over these four properties with related development opportunities to Safjället Fastigheter, which will manage and develop them in the best way! Wallenstam's focus going forward is on further developing and refining our commercial properties in the CBD of both Stockholm and Gothenburg, and our attractive residential properties in both regions," says Hans Wallenstam, CEO Wallenstam.

"It feels really great to take over and continue to develop the properties in Gårda and Högsbo. Taking possession of the properties also means the starting point for Safjället Fastigheter as a property owner, so this is much more than a property transaction for us. We are going from being a new company name in the sector to being able to really make a difference on a daily basis. I would like to once again express a big thank you to our owners and financiers that have supported our plan and to Wallenstam, which did not hesitate to carry out a major transaction with the newly established Safjället Fastigheter," says P-G Persson, CEO Safjället Fastigheter.

The four properties in Gårda and Högsbo in Gothenburg comprise approximately 31,300 sq m in total, mainly office space, and were sold through four company transactions for an agreed property value totaling SEK 1,250 million. The transaction was announced in a press release on December 12, 2024.
