French flavors and more services for Kallebäcks Terrasser

With Tarte Flambée as its speciality and other delicious French flavors, the restaurant Valentinas is opening in Kallebäcks Terrasser in the fall. And already in the spring, the service offering will improve in the area when a smaller convenience store will welcome its first customers.

So far, three blocks containing just over 500 apartments have welcomed new tenants to Kallebäcks Terrasser. In May and June, a further two blocks will be filled with new residential tenants and businesses.

"We are very much looking forward to creating a wonderful new meeting place in the area, a nice and pleasant place to hang out. Valentinas is already established in the Lilla Bommen district, so we are now expanding the business and taking with us the concept of an open kitchen environment, an ambitious menu and a superb wine list. We hope and believe that this is something which will attract many people in the local area," says Johan Isaksson, one of the owners of Valentinas.

A passion for food and new flavors is what drives the two co-owners and brothers Johan and Niclas Isaksson. Their ambition is that Valentinas shall be open every day of the week from lunchtime until late in the evening.  

In the Utsikten block, just next to the area's terraced park, the convenience store Kallebäcks Livs will open later in the spring. 
"The location here feels great, I am so excited ahead of the opening. With generous opening hours every day, I am looking forward to giving the customers good service and an excellent selection of basic goods, good coffee, really fresh candy and what is needed for a great `cosy Friday' at home," says Fadi Wester at Kallebäcks Livs.

"It is so wonderful to see how Kallebäcks Terrasser is taking shape. Services, pleasant cafés and restaurants were exactly what was high on the wish list in our dialogue with local residents before the development of the area," says Marina Fritsche, Vice CEO and Regional Director of Wallenstam in Gothenburg.  

In the fall, a healthcare center, child healthcare center, school and nursery school will open in Kallebäcks Terrasser. The construction of the area as a whole commenced in 2019 and when fully developed, the district will consist of almost 2,000 new homes, a school, nursery school, offices, restaurants, cafés and local services. Construction is currently in progress of four residential blocks with nice commercial premises in the ground floors.
