Wallenstam initiates collaboration regarding Foreign-born Entrepreneur of the Year award
Published 4/21/2022Wallenstam has initiated collaboration with the Internationella Företagare i Sverige Foundation, IFS, which awards the Foreign-born Entrepreneur of the Year prize annually. Since 1996, IFS has supported entrepreneurs and business owners with a foreign background in starting, running and developing companies. The foundation also strives to secure favorable conditions for enterprise and initiates activities to create networks among business owners with a foreign background and companies and organisations in Sweden.
The Foreign-born Entrepreneur of the Year award - one of Sweden's most prestigious prizes for business owners with a foreign background has been awarded since 1999 and H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf is the patron of the prize. The contest is conducted at a regional and national level. A nomination committee in five regions and a national committee evaluates business owners with a foreign background according to the criteria entrepreneurial spirit, economic development, strategic focus, impact on the surrounding world, personal influence and innovation.

Through the Foreign-born Entrepreneur of the Year award, we honor role models and show their value for Sweden," says Rafael Bermejo, Founder & President of the IFS Foundation and H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf's Foreign-born Entrepreneur of the Year prize.
