Nordic Wellness opening in Umami Park

The Stockholm region's new dynamic area Umami Park in Sundbyberg is continuing to develop at a fast pace. In September next year, Nordic Wellness will open a new training facility of just over 1,500 square meters in Umami Park. New and old members can then exercise in a new, fantastic premises with panoramic windows in the middle of the area.

 "We are very happy to welcome Nordic Wellness to Umami Park. Their new training facility demonstrates both the area's attractiveness and the continuing trend of strong demand for health and wellness training. This is a purposeful establishment which will provide great added value to all those who live and work in the area," says Malin Kernby, Business Area Manager, Commercial  Stockholm/Uppsala at Wallenstam.

Nordic Wellness is one of Sweden's leading companies in health and wellness training with more than 280 established training centers in Sweden. Their new training facility in Umami Park will offer a broad range of the latest in equipment, machines and group training. 

"We are really looking forward to opening in Umami Park. We want to be the best alternative within health and wellness training and to contribute in the best way to general public health with a place where everyone should feel at home and welcome," says Magnus Wilhelmsson, CEO of Nordic Wellness AB.

"What makes Umami Park unique is the holistic approach we are taking. A lively mixed-use district is taking shape which will offer all that is needed for a pleasant, easy everyday life. It is a completely new area featuring modern apartments, office space, corporate housing, squares, restaurants, cafés, gyms, care and local services. Next summer, we will also welcome Convendum and their office tenants here," says Malin Kernby.

Umami Park is growing and developing with a focus on people enjoying themselves, meeting and working. The proximity to the metro, Stockholm city, Solna and Kista is unbeatable, while Arlanda and Bromma airports are within a convenient distance. The area will be fully developed in 2024, and will then consist of 800 apartments, 10,000 square meters of restaurants, shops and other services and 13,500 square meters of office space.
