Despite its proximity to Stockholm city, Sundbyberg has a wonderful small-town feel. Here you can easily cycle between your home, the job, the local pub and all the beautiful green areas nearby. In northern Sundbyberg, we are now creating an entirely new area, Umami Park.

Services and shops
The pedestrian streets in central Sundbyberg are lined with shops, restaurants and cafés. On the other side of the railway tracks, an area has been developed with hotels, restaurants and other services. In Hallonbergen Centrum there are shops, a library and local services as well as a metro station. Tuletorget has a good range of restaurants and local services. Umami Park is also close to Mall of Scandinavia, one of northern Europe’s largest shopping centres offering shops, restaurants, cinema and other services.

You can easily get to Sundbyberg by metro, commuter train, light rail or bus. The Stockholm metro’s blue line takes you in to Stockholm central station in 13 minutes from Hallonbergen’s metro station, which is located 300 meters from Umami Park. Solna and Kista are only a few minutes away. Bromma airport can be reached in just under 30 minutes by bus and Arlanda can be reached in approx. 40 minutes by bus or metro and train.

Leisure and recreation
Lötsjön is a lake in the municipality that offers a rich birdlife, beautiful walks around the lake and a fountain. Råstasjön is also a popular destination for excursions. In wintertime you will find hosed down natural ice at Torn park, Duvbo park and Skvadronsbacken. Ursviks Motionsgård, an exercise area, which is within walking distance of Umami Park, offers ski trails in wintertime. Just pick up your cross-country skis, borrow the keys to the waxing room and venture out into the beautiful countryside.

Umami Park will be part of the development area Hallonbergen + Ör, which you can read more about here.
