The Victoria block in Gothenburg continues to develop

Published 3/11/2021

The range of stores in the Victoria block, in the middle of central Gothenburg, is continuing to develop with three exciting, new establishments. A padel store, a premium vintage store with menswear and a very special tattoo studio will open soon.

Nordic Padel has just moved into Vallgatan 25, and the premises are being adapted right now for an opening later in spring.
"Our vision is to create a unique padel store in the middle of the city with a wonderful atmosphere where you can come in for a coffee and talk about padel or get a feel for a wide variety of padel equipment. We are really looking forward to the store opening and will offer a complete range of rackets, shoes, clothes, bags and lots of other accessories," says Nils Wahlstedt one of the partners in Nordic Padel.

At Södra Larmgatan 18, the tattoo studio Aktiebolaget Bläck & Nål is being prepared ahead of a planned opening in April.
"We love what the Victoria block exudes and stands for. The idea for our new studio was conceived from a shared desire to revitalize what you traditionally associate with a tattoo studio. A welcoming feeling that exudes an atmosphere, which is more retail than studio, where service, customer care and the overall experience are cutting edge, without in any way losing respect for the craft and tradition," says Carl Martinsson, who along with Daniel Christensson runs Aktiebolaget Bläck & Nål.

Inside Victoriagården itself, Abiti Vintage & Sales with the address Södra Larmgatan 16, will open in May, a store that will sell clothes, shoes and accessories for men with premium vintage and second hand in focus.
"I want to give Gothenburgers an additional and new dimension in the second hand category with a well-assorted and exclusive range of branded clothing and accessories for men. With sustainability and long-term fashion as the strongest core value, we want to be more than a second-hand store. To now become a part of the Victoria Block is an honor and inspiring in every way. The location and premises itself, positioned between two of Gothenburg's most attractive pedestrian streets, makes the area the hottest of its kind," says the owner John Sjökvist.

"The new businesses in the Victoria block add more dynamism and nice value to the area that complements the overall environment with new creative, exciting experiences and offers," says Anders Forsling, chief Account Manager, Commercial at Wallenstam in Gothenburg.
