Calculation method:
The calculation was made by Swedish Energy (Electricity year 2016)
The calculation of emissions is based on electricity production data per fuel type, which is subsequently recalculated to the total amount of fuel supplied in the turbines using the average turbine efficiency. Emission factors are then applied to the amounts of fuel in order to obtain the total emissions.
We have used the values for the year 2015, which are the latest available values.
