Wallenstam builds, develops and manages properties for sustainable living and enterprise in the three most expansive regions in Sweden: Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Helsingborg.
The ownership is focused on residential properties and also on commercial properties in Gothenburg. In close cooperation with City Authorities we develop safe places and areas where people want to live, work and visit.
The company was founded in 1944. Over the years, we have come to take the issues of environmental care and personal safety in our areas, very seriously indeed. We also plan to be self-sufficient in renewable electricity by 2013, through operating our own power plants.
Wallenstam owns a total of approximately 300 properties and the customer base consists of around 9,000 households and about 1,000 companies. Approximately 45 per cent of the property value is represented by residential properties. Wallenstam also has an extensive project portfolio for new production of dwellings and commercial premises. The Group reports a turnover about SEK 1.6 billion in rentals and has a property value of approximately SEK 28 billion. Wallenstam's B shares are quoted on Large-Cap list of the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm.
